Ladies’ Auxiliary

The Lord Selkirk Association of Rupert’s Land Ladies’ Auxiliary holds three luncheon meetings each year at which association matters are discussed. Money is collected at the September meeting for food, membership fees and the scholarship fund.

Scholarship donations and bequests are forwarded to the association.

Money is collected at the December meeting for the Salvation Army and to purchase a gift certificate for Beryl Prince, daughter of Sgt. Tommy Prince.

Copies of the book, Kildonan on the Red, are awarded every year at the annual dinner to scholarship winners.

A scrapbook is kept of news items concerning the association and its members. A scrapbook of obituaries of members and associates is also kept.

The Ladies’ Auxiliary made a substantial donation to the Kildonan Cemetery Fund in September, 2003.
