You are invited!

Please join us at
Kildonan Park near Shelter 3a
on
Sunday June 7th from 12:30 to 4:30.

Hear the wonderful sounds of a piper.
Join a historical scavenger hunt.
Play bocce ball & horse shoes.
Ask questions about tracing your own ancestry.
Enjoy a hot dog & drink at a beautiful Winnipeg Park.

This is a chance to encourage your
kids, grandkids, siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins
who may not regularly attend the annual luncheon of
The Lord Selkirk Association of Rupert’s Land
to join you at a free casual event that
engages them in learning a bit of their history.

For more information or to register contact
Edith Lyon (204-885-1927) or
Twila MacNair  twila.macnair@gmail.com
Please RSVP before Monday, May 25th and let us know how many people you are bringing
so we will have enough hotdogs for everyone!

NOTE:  To find Shelter 3 enter the park from Main Street,
continue on the main road passing Rainbow Stage.
When you come to a fork, continue right onto Peguis Drive
until you see the shelters to your left.
Parking is along the drive.  If you don’t mind walking a distance
and enjoying the gardens along the way,
you could park either in the Rainbow Stage parking or at the
restaurant parking, but it might be good to drive
the loop around the park to find us first.
