Help! Volunteers required at TLSARL table for Folklorama
We are looking for TLSARL members willing to volunteer some of their time to man the “booth” we have at the Scottish Pavilion at Folklorama in Winnipeg during the first week of August. Here’s a chance to set off our new banner with your blazing smile and cheerful banter! Bring your camera and take a photo for the Newsletter! Meet lots of Scottish enthusiasts! Immerse yourself in Scottish culture! What a blast!
We need volunteers from Sunday, Aug. 2nd to Saturday, Aug. 8th. Shifts are divided with early shifts from 5.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and late shifts running from 8 p.m. to closing.

Thanks to Roy McLeod’s setting up this display table, our Association received a good deal of exposure at Folklorama. A big thank you to everyone who helped man the booth.

Volunteer help is so difficult to come by in this age of busy-ness (and in summer – even one like this!).
Roy worked really hard and successfully to get this booth together and make it interesting. Thanks Roy!
And thank you, too, to those who were able to give him some relief at manning the table (you too, Cathie!). If I lived closer, I would have had loads of fun with all of you there!
